Meet Lupin
Are you looking for an active little sidekick to join you on your every excursion?! Look no further, Lupin may be the companion you’ve been searching for.
Lupin and his friend Oliver came into our care when their previous guardians could no longer care for them. In an ideal world, they would find a furever home together, however, we have made the difficult decision to unbond them if it means they can each find their happily ever after.
Lupin is an energetic and active 8-year-old Wheaten Terrier mix. Don’t let his age deter you- He is full of life and has a big personality to match. He LOVES a good adventure, exploring new places and sights.
Lupin has settled into his foster home. She sent us in this update: “He’s doing great and he’s really quite relaxed about life now. He really is not a dog that wants much more than to just be in your space with you. He is quite happy to lay out and relax. Some dogs need to be on the ‘go’ during parts of the day but he is happy to have a couple of 1/2 hr walks and then just sits on the couch with the aim of relaxing himself. He will make a good companion for someone once he’s comfortable in his ‘own space’ he is absolutely easy to be around”
He will thrive in a home that can provide structure, reassurance, and understanding. His ideal home would be with folks who work remotely or part-time from home, who can commit to slow departure exercises while helping him build his confidence.
Lupin is currently enjoying his time in a foster home while he awaits his perfect match. If you would like to open your heart and home to a special senior, please submit an application online and we will organize a meet and greet once approved.
