Meet sweet miss Maggie! This tabby lady is a loving cat who enjoys quiet cuddles and pets on the couch with you. Maggie is looking for a calm home that isn’t too loud and busy as that can be a bit scary for her. She previously lived with an single adult and a small dog but sadly had to be rehomed when her guardian moved and couldn’t bring her along. She then went to a very busy home with lots of kids and animals and it was too stressful for her, causing her to hide and be very anxious. Maggie might be fine with older, calm children though. Maggie hopes that this next time is the charm and she will finally find her fur-ever home to enjoy her golden years in.
With any animal, but particularly seniors, it is important for adopters to be prepared to keep up with regular vet check ups and care, including a healthy diet to encourage a good body condition and help with regular brushing for a shining coat. Maggie is a bit overweight so adopters should be prepared to have her on a healthy diet that will help her trim down a bit.
