Meet Missy! This sweet tuxedo came to the SPCA after her previous owners sadly moved and weren’t able to bring her along. She can be a bit shy at first in a new environment and may want a safe place to hide until she feels comfortable and secure then she will be out exploring and seeking your attention. Missy will melt for cheek scratches and will purr with happiness when she’s getting pets. She is a loving girl who enjoys lots of attention and cuddles on the couch. Missy previously was in a quiet adult home so isn’t used to a very loud, busy environment. Due to this we’re not sure how she would do with kids. Young kids might be a bit too scary for her but older, calm, cat savvy ones might be possible with time. Slow, proper introductions will be very important with any other animals. Missy apparently has been around dogs before and does well with them as long as they are respectful. Missy is also used to mainly being an indoor cat except she did previously have a balcony to lounge on. This sweet young girl is a bit on the plump side so adopters should be prepared to work on a healthy diet and help Missy get back to her trim weight.
