Nola is a 5‑month‑old LGD mix with a heart as gentle as her eyes. So far, life hasn’t been easy for this sweet girl. She has spent her short life outdoors, and at some point she suffered a broken leg that never received the veterinary care it needed. To ensure Nola can live a long, comfortable, and pain‑free life, that leg will soon need to be amputated.
Despite everything she has been through, Nola’s spirit shines through.
Since arriving in our care, we’ve seen a tender, affectionate puppy who is eager for connection but still finding her footing in a brand‑new world. She seeks out gentle attention, and while she’s hesitant when entering a building, once she’s inside she settles down, lays quietly, and seems to realize she’s finally safe.
Nola will thrive in a patient, calm, and understanding home-one that’s ready to support her as she heals, builds confidence, and learns what it means to be loved. She doesn’t need perfection; she just needs kindness, routine, and reassurance.
✨ Nola’s surgery is booked, and she is eligible for a foster‑to‑adopt arrangement while awaiting her procedure. Her foster family would simply drop her off and pick her up for surgery, and our team will support you every step of the way.
