Meet Regis!

Regis is a sensitive soul seeking a calm and patient home to call his own. He comes from a home with many other cats and is still learning to trust new people and environments.

Regis would prefer a peaceful environment in an adult‑only home with experienced cat guardians who understand feline body language. Regis is quite under-socialized and requires a patient, calm guardian who can commit to helping build that trust with his humans.

Interested applicants should know that Regis, like many cats, is a night owl and can be very active at night. During the day, he prefers the comfort of secure spaces and observing from a distance. Though his foster person reports that he has been quite curious lately, and is out and about more each day, slowly allowing soft pets.

While he will make progress over time, it’s important to understand that Regis may prefer his own space and may not be a lap loving cat – and that’s okay. He deserves a home where he is accepted and loved for who he is.
