Meet Regis!

Regis is a sensitive soul seeking a calm and patient home to call his own. He comes from a home with many other cats and is still learning a bit that people can be safe, predictable, and kind. What he needs most is a compassionate adopter who understands cats with shy or cautious personalities and can meet him exactly where he is and respect his boundaries.

Regis would prefer a peaceful environment, so he’s seeking an adult‑only home with experienced cat people who can read feline body language and give him the space he needs to feel secure. With time, consistency, and gentle companionship, he will continue to trust at his own pace. Interested applicants should know that Regis is a night owl and will be very active at night! During the day, he prefers the comfort of hiding and observing from a distance, and any new environment will take him a significant amount of time to adjust to. Though his foster person reports that he has been quite curious lately, and is out and about more each day.

While he will make progress over time, it’s important to understand that Regis may never become a cuddly or lap loving cat – and that’s okay. He deserves a home where he is accepted and loved for who he is.
