Meet Kali
Meet Kali, the littlest lady with the biggest heart…and eyes! This petite senior feline is very outgoing and loving. She loves absolutely everyone she meets and will flop down at your feet for pets and rubs. She wants all the attention she can get and even enjoys being held in your arms like a baby (isn’t she adorable). Kali would likely be fine in a home with cat savvy kids but we’re not sure how she would do with other animals. She’s shown some negative reaction to certain cats but she may be able to get used to some animals with proper, slow introductions and if they are easygoing. Kali is an absolutely wonderful companion to join your home. She can be a little playful even as she gets older but she really excels at cuddle time. Could Kali be the one to steal your heart?
An adopter for Kali will need to be prepared to manage her medical needs. She has been diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which was likely left untreated for most of her life. She needs to be on a special diet to help with the inflammation in her GI system plus may require a low cost medication intermittently or long term. Regular vet check ups will be important to help keep Kali healthy and comfortable.
*KALI IS CURRENTLY RECOVERING FROM A DENTAL SURGERY. SHE IS NOT ABLE TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED JUST YET. LOCAL ADOPTERS MAY HAVE THE OPTION TO FOSTER TO ADOPT IN THEIR HOME UNTIL KALI’S CARE IS COMPLETED OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS. Ask staff for more information.
