Meet Solo!

Solo is our resident nervous nelly. He came to us extremely scared of everything, even his own shadow. Staff have worked tirelessly to show him that the world can actually be a fun place. With lots of patience and love, Solo began to trust them and warm up, showing signs of a playful, affectionate personality.

He was still nervous about going outside for walks, but after being introduced to other shelter dogs and following them out, he has learned to enjoy being outside. He has even discovered a love for toys and playing.

Solo still has a long way to go and will need someone who can continue to be patient and show him the ropes. He would likely do well in a home with another dog.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
