Meet Pipkin

Add to favourites

Meet Pipkin! This little cutie was found by a security guard near a Vancouver Public Library. Pipkin was previously living outside and has been adjusting well to her new life as an indoor bun. Each day she is becoming more comfortable around people and is beginning to relax in her new environment. Pipkin had never eaten pellets before and is still a little bit unsure about them – however she DEVOURS her greens and is starting to experiment with tasting treats.

You may see that Pipkin’s ears have some missing tissue, but she has had several check-ups at the vet and she is fully healed. Her scarred ears don’t slow her down and just add to her charm!

Pipkin is only partially litter-trained, so a future adopter should plan to continue working on that with her. Pipkin may enjoy being a free-roaming bunny in the future, but should be kept in an enclosure for now until she is fully litter trained.

Pipkin is also still awaiting her spay surgery, so potential adopters should be aware that they will need to transport her to that appointment. She will be in Foster-to-Adopt until she is spayed.

Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.

Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-4
