Cece is a sweet, sensitive 1-year-old Labrador Retriever/Kelpie cross who is looking for a patient home where she can build confidence at her own pace. Once she feels safe, Cece forms strong bonds with her people and shows her affectionate, playful side. She especially enjoys spending time with other dogs and can relax and thrive in quiet, low-pressure environments.

What Cece needs

· A patient, understanding guardian who will let her move at her own pace

· A calm, predictable routine

· A quiet home with low pressure and few expectations initially

· Positive reinforcement and gentle confidence-building

· Another friendly, confident dog may help her adjust

Cece can be fearful around unfamiliar people and new situations. When she is unsure, she may hide, freeze, or keep her distance. Given time, space, and treats, she is able to relax and begin building trust. She’s currently supported with anxiety-reducing medication and a training plan. Our Behaviour Team will support you and Cece.
