Meet Kevin! He is a 1 and a half ‑year‑old Malinois cross who is ready to find his forever home.

True to his Malinois roots, Kevin is happiest when he has a job or activity to do. He loves any activity that challenges his sharp mind and expends some of his boundless energy, whether that’s long hikes, agility, obedience practice, or interactive play sessions. Exercise, and plenty of it, preferably side by side with his guardian, is paramount to his happiness. Daily games of fetch and plenty of training to exercise his brain will keep this goofy guy very content.

Kevin is a loving companion, so he struggles when she is left alone for long periods of time and will vocalize when he is lonely or excited. He has shown some interest in playing with other dogs, but he is a very strong and large boy who doesn’t always know his own strength so he may be better suited to a home where he can either be the centre of attention, or a home with another energetic large breed dog. Because of his excitable nature, Kevin is not well suited to a home with small children.

Kevin is best suited to a highly active home that appreciates his need for both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He would thrive with adopters who enjoy outdoor adventures, structured training, and spending quality time with their dog. In return, Kevin offers unwavering loyalty, a playful spirit, and the joy of watching a brilliant, sensitive dog flourish.
