Meet Kiya!

Kiya is a one in a million dog. She came to us very overweight, with joint and leg issues, but despite being in pain, she has remained one of the happiest and most affectionate dogs we have met. She truly is everyone’s best friend.

Kiya is a little fish who loves to swim. She cannot walk as much as she would like right now, and she has a hyperextended wrist that makes walking difficult. We are awaiting a supportive brace to help make walking easier and more comfortable for her.

Kiya has no sense of personal space and loves to be right by your side. She must be the only pet in the home, with no cats or other dogs.

This sweet senior girl went without proper care for far too long and deserves to spend her golden years surrounded by the love she so freely gives to everyone.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
