Hi there… I’m back. Not exactly how I planned things, but here I am.
Whoa. I can tell you with complete certainty that this was not on my Bingo card. One minute I was living my best senior-gal life – 15 years young, cruising along without a care – and then BAM… everything changed. Turns out life likes to throw curveballs, and for some reason, it keeps aiming them my way. I was here three years ago, and honestly, I was in much worse shape back then. I got adopted, I was loved, and it was wonderful. Sadly, circumstances changed, and now I’m searching once more for somewhere to land – hopefully for good this time.
So let’s get the truths out of the way, because I believe in being honest. Yes, I’m 15. Yes, my eyesight isn’t what it used to be. I might walk in circles now and then, and I may not always hear you call my name. But let me tell you this – I am still very much here. I still enjoy soft beds, gentle voices, warm sunbeams, and being close to my people. I recently went to the vet for what they call a “quality of life” exam. I must’ve passed with flying colours because they said I still have good days ahead – and I fully plan to enjoy every single one.
What I’m looking for now is simple. A kindhearted soul. Someone who understands that love doesn’t have an age limit and that a senior dog’s heart is just as full – maybe even fuller. I may not have years and years to give, but I promise the love I offer will be deep, quiet, and unconditional. If you have room in your heart and your home for a sweet old gal who just wants to be cherished, I’ll be right here… waiting, hopeful, and ready to love again. 💕
