Meet Ashlu
Ashlu has a long story so let’s see if we can break it down in a nutshell.
1. Left abandoned at a gold mine on a forestry road.
2. Good Samaritan finds Ashlu.
3. Ashlu tries to run away from good Samaritan, but he has such a thick, tight mat on his back, he cannot move his legs to run. Finder also notices that cat food has been left with the cat.
4. Good Samaritan picks up Ashlu, and brings him back to Squamish on his motorcycle, wrapped in his jacket.
5. Ashlu is safe in Squamish, and although he is considered a stray, has the giant matt shaved off of his back, as it was painful and inhibited his ability to move.
6. Shy but sweet. Ashlu is adjusting to being at the Sea to Sky BC SPCA and is looking for a safe and loving home.
