Meet Mula!

This sweet, old gal had a really rough past after recently giving birth to a litter of puppies and sadly afterwards, being hit by a car (which we are happy to say, she has fully recovered from!). Mula has now been patiently waiting her new loving home to live out her golden years along with her forever family.
Mula is a lovely combination of a husky and cattle dog mix, and is looking for a new grassy yard where she can run, play, and thoroughly investigate every scent and blade of grass. Despite being an older gal, Mula still has plenty of spark. She’s sweet, affectionate, and absolutely loves spending time with her favourite people.

This senior lady prefers to be the center of attention and thrives in a home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches. We suspect Mula may also have some hearing loss. When lonely, she can have a bit of trouble settling and may express herself vocally – she’s not shy about sharing her feelings. The ideal adopter for her would be adults with varied schedules or someone who works from home, and has access to a yard space.

On the bright side, Mula walks very well on leash! She would love regular walks, companionship, and a home that understands her need for connection and reassurance. We have also noted that Mula does well when greeting other dogs, so she would likely do well with a canine roommate after a slow introduction process is complete.

Mula will be spending a few days recovering from surgery in a foster home, so interested applicants should apply online! We will arrange meet & greets with approved applicants.
