Meet Mark!

This lovely 4‑month‑old boy came to us from the Williams Lake area with his sister, Marble, when their owner could no longer care for them.

Mark is a livestock guardian breed who will grow to be very large (think: over 100 lbs of fluff), so he’s looking for a home with lots of outdoor space to stretch those long legs and burn off his puppy energy.

Around here, Mark is known as our resident gentle giant. He’s all heart, he loves cuddles, belly rubs, and soaking up every ounce of attention he can get. When he’s outside, you’ll often find him flopped in the grass like a sunbathing potato, happily nibbling on flowers and watching the world go by. It’s his favourite hobby.

Mark is already learning his basic commands, but he’ll need a guardian who can continue guiding him as he grows bigger, braver, and more independent. He’s a big fan of other dogs, so a canine buddy could be a great match after a proper, slow introduction.

We’re looking for an adopter experienced with livestock guardian breeds and their unique needs.
