Meet Gracie!
Gracie is a sweet, independent girl who loves affection-but only on her terms. She can be a loving lap cat for those who give her space and patience, rewarding them with gentle purrs and quiet companionship.
She’s best in a calm home. Gracie doesn’t enjoy other cats, though she has lived successfully with a friendly dog. Small children aren’t her favorite, but older kids who respect her boundaries could be a good match.
In 2018, Gracie had a rear leg amputated due to an injury. Despite this, she climbs, jumps, and gets around just fine! A few things to keep in mind:
– Indoor-only living for her safety.
– Some hind-end sensitivity; monitor for arthritis as she ages.
– Keep her at a healthy weight to protect her joints.
Gracie may take time to warm up, but once she does, she becomes a loyal, loving companion.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
