🐾 Meet Penelope (Penny to my friends!) 🐾
Hello everyone! My name is Penelope, but you can call me Penny. I’m about a year old – still just a baby – and a mix of cattle dog, heeler, and maybe a few other fun surprises.
I’m a sensitive soul, and new situations and new people can feel pretty scary to me. Because of that, being in a shelter isn’t the best place for a gal like me. I try my best to be brave, but sometimes the world feels a little overwhelming.
What I’m really hoping for is a calm, loving home with someone patient who understands that I’ll need time to settle in and feel safe. I can get anxious when I’m left alone, so someone who can help me build confidence at my own pace would make my little heart so happy.
All I truly want is simple: a warm bed, a full belly, gentle reassurance, and lots of love (belly rubs highly encouraged). The team here is still getting to know me, and I’m still learning what it feels like to trust and relax.
