Meet Kendrick!

Kendrick came from a large group of cats so is still adjusting to the unfamiliar luxury of living indoors, in the shelter environment. With the patience of staff and volunteers Kendrick is beginning to feel for comfortable in this new environment and we are starting to see his personality shine through. Kendrick was previously adopted and then returned as he was very anxious in the home. We have been told that he loves his toys and likes to bring them into the bathtub to play with. He also wanted to befriend a neighbourhood cat and would watch through the window and chirp leading us to believe he would benefit from having a social cat in the home who can help him learn how to trust people. Starting off in a smaller room of the house (like a bathroom!) would likely be best to help him feel comfortable at his own pace in his new home.

Kendrick is going to require a quiet patient home, who is aware that learning to trust people may be a lifelong journey for him and can celebrate his moments of growth no matter how small. It can be so rewarding to open up your heart to an under socialized cat and watch them slowly relax and learn to trust
Walk-ins are prioritized.

We are open Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
