Meet Toby!

Toby is a sweet and gentle boy seeking a home where he can live quietly next to his favourite people. He can be nervous of new people initially, but once he gets to know you you will have a loyal shadow by your side.

The way to Toby’s heart is simple: tasty beef liver treats, chill walks with lots of sniffing, his favourite squeaky toy and a game of fetch is all you need to win him over. He has successfully lived with children and does best with those who are calm and respectful while he gets to know them. Toby hasn’t shown much interest in other dogs and is generally content to keep to himself rather than play or interact.

A quiet, patient home with an understanding family will be his perfect match. It make take some time for him to feel fully comfortable, so an adopter that is willing to take things at his pace, and continue to support him as he learns that new people and places aren’t too bad will help him to be successful.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-5pm

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
