Meet Eddie and Elmer!
A recent transfer from our friends at the Alberni SPCA, Eddie and Elmer are slowly settling into their new digs! Described as “shy, but sweet,” we believe these brothers will thrive together as a bonded pair. Kittens do best together, after all — especially if you’ll be away from home for long periods.
The brothers should be alright with older children (10+), though homes with dogs and/or infants may prove too scary for them.
We can’t wait to see more of their personalities shine through as they continue to acclimatize! Elmer and Eddie still need to be neutered, so they’ll go home with you as a “foster-to-adopt” until we’re able to schedule them in.

We are looking for INDOOR-ONLY adopters. Consider investing in a catio or “cat-proofing” your balcony/deck for safe, outdoor enrichment.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Eddie and Elmer’s person? Apply today!
TIP: To aid our team in making the best match possible, applicants are encouraged to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.
Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.
Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
