Meet Ollie! 🐾
Ollie is a 4‑year‑old Border Collie / Cattle Dog mix with a sweet soul and a smart, thoughtful personality. He’s at that wonderful age where he’s past the puppy chaos but still full of life and eager to be your best buddy.

Ollie does have a partially torn cruciate ligament, and his future family will need to continue with conservative management, which is the first and recommended step for partial tears. The good news? Ollie is doing well with this approach! He can enjoy leashed walks and thrives when his brain is kept busy with enrichment activities like slow feeders, Kongs, puzzle toys, and training games.

To protect his knee, Ollie will need a home that understands no long runs, fetch, or ball throwing, as these activities can aggravate the injury and potentially lead to a full tear. As long as conservative management continues to work for him, surgery is not considered necessary at this time-his condition will simply need to be monitored moving forward.

Ollie would be a fantastic match for someone who enjoys structured walks, mental enrichment, and building a strong bond with a clever, loyal dog. If you’re looking for a companion who will happily work his brain, stroll by your side, and appreciate a calm, thoughtful lifestyle, Ollie might just be your perfect match. 💙
