Meet Kaikoura
Kaikoura arrived with her beautiful, unique name – and we recently learned it’s the Māori word for “crayfish”! It suits her perfectly: distinctive, strong, and a little bit fierce.
She originally came from a large cat colony, so she’s accustomed to being around other cats and can tolerate them. That said, as we’ve gotten to know her better, it’s clear she likes to be in charge. Kaikoura can be a bit of a bully with other felines and would likely thrive best as the only cat in the home, where she can truly reign as the queen of her castle.
Kaikoura is not shy in the slightest – she’s confident, assertive, and very social. She loves being wherever her people are, keeping tabs on what you’re up to and making herself part of the action. She would make an awesome, engaging companion for someone who appreciates a bold and affectionate personality.
If you’re looking for a cat with confidence, character, and plenty of presence, Kaikoura is ready to rule your heart.
