Meet Astro 💙

This sweet boy is ready to start his next chapter in his forever home!

Like any puppy, he will need lots of patience, love and care while he grows into the polite pup he’s meant to be. Ongoing training, socializing and desensitizing is crucial and families should be ready for all the stages of a puppy. The shark teeth, toilet accidents in the house & of course, the endless snuggles and silly antics.

Astro’s exact breed is a bit of a mystery. We know he is a mixture of a few different large breeds and he will definitely grow up to be a big fluffy dog, so adopters should be prepared for his size when the time comes.

Do you think you could be Astro’s person? Here is how to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
