Meet Ripley! Ripley is an affectionate and playful Australian Shepherd mix looking for an active forever home with plenty of time to dedicate to a new family member. Ripley loves to be around people, and eagerly climbs onto sofas or beds to snuggle right up to you! She knows all of her basic commands, and gets along great with other dogs and children. Ripley loves to go for hikes, runs, and play fetch in a safe outdoor space. She has excellent leash manners, and would be a great adventure buddy for an active owner.

Ripley has some separation anxiety, and while she’s OK to be left alone for a few hours at a time, when shes alone for longer periods she has a bad habit of chewing on furniture, shoes, or anything else she finds. We recommend that Ripley’s future owners work on crate training with her to keep her safe when they’re out of the house, and our staff are happy to walk potential adopters through the crate training process. She would be happiest in a home where there are people home with her for most of the day, or a guardian that can bring her to work with them.
