August is a gentle soul who has blossomed with time, patience, and understanding. When he first arrived in our care, he was unsure of people and preferred to keep his distance. Since then, he has made incredible progress and continues to show us more of his sweet personality every day.

Once August gets to know you, he enjoys affection and will happily come over for chin scratches and gentle pets. He loves spending time with the people he trusts and has a quiet, loving nature that makes him a wonderful companion. There is nothing more rewarding than earning his trust and watching him relax and enjoy being loved.

August is looking for a calm home with patient adopters who will allow him to settle in at his own pace. He would thrive with someone who understands that confidence takes time to build and is willing to let him adjust without pressure. In return, August will offer a special bond, loyal companionship, and plenty of affection once he feels safe.

If you’re searching for a kind-hearted companion and are willing to give him the time he needs to feel at home, August may be the perfect match for you. ❤️🐾
