Meet Abby!

This sweet and affectionate girl is looking for a fresh start after some challenges in her previous home. Abby has decided she’s happiest as the only pet in the house, so she’s looking for a place where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

Abby is a cuddle bug who thrives in a calm, indoor environment. She’s been diagnosed with FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease), a relatively common condition in cats that can be well-managed with the right care. To help keep her comfortable and stress-free, Abby is currently on a special urinary diet (Hill’s c/d Multicare Stress) and receiving anxiety-reducing medications while in our care. These steps are helping reduce her urinary inflammation and will support her transition into a new home. Staff will further discuss this with Abby’s adopters to ensure they are set up for success!

Potential adopters should be prepared for the possibility of more frequent vet visits than average, and consider the long-term commitment to her health needs. But in return, Abby promises endless snuggles and a heart full of love.

Keep your new family member safe and keep them inside! Consider investing in a catio or “cat-proofing” your balcony/deck. Leash-training, or letting your cat tag along in a pet backpack, are other safe options for outdoor-loving felines.

Cat Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.

Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
