Meet Abby!

This sweetheart is looking for a new home after recently having some issues with her previous living arrangements (she has decided that she would like to be the only pet in the home!).

Abby is a cuddly, affectionate lady looking for a calm, indoor home to call her own. She has been diagnosed with FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease) which means she should be kept as stress free as possible. We have started a urinary diet called CD Stress that will help her settle in a little bit better, along with some anxiety-reducing medications while in care so she can reduce her urinary inflammation. Perspective adopters should take this into consideration as she may require more vet visits than the average kitty (i.e. financially prepared).

***

Keep your new family member safe and keep them inside! Consider investing in a catio or “cat-proofing” your balcony/deck. Leash-training, or letting your cat tag along in a pet backpack, are other safe options for outdoor-loving felines.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Abby’s person? Apply today!

TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.

Cat Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.

Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
