Meet Ben!
Sam is a young, high-energy Husky/Shepherd mix with a big heart and a love for affection. He can get a little bouncy when excited, but he’s quick to settle down when he’s getting pets and attention. He loves long walks and playing fetch, and would be an excellent companion for an active guardian!

He’s curious about other dogs but needs a slow and calm introduction before he feels comfortable spending time with them. He knows plenty of tricks, is fully housetrained, and doesn’t mind being left alone while you’re at work (so long as you give him plenty of playtime when you get home!). Ben will show off his husky voice if he’s feeling left out, so apartments with thin walls may not be the best environment for this chatty boy.

Sam would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular outdoor adventures and enrichment. He has a lot of love to give, and would be a fantastic hiking buddy or camping companion. He would likely be fine with older children, but he may be too jumpy for little ones prone to being knocked over.
