Meet Sam!
Sam is a young, high-energy Shepherd mix with a big heart and a love for affection. He can get a little bouncy when excited, but he’s quick to settle down when he’s getting pets and attention. Sam generally walks well on leash and enjoys exploring the world alongside his humans.
He’s curious about other dogs but can be selective with his canine companions-he may do best with female dogs and would benefit from slow, proper introductions. With the right match, Sam could enjoy having doggy friends!
Sam would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular outdoor adventures and enrichment. He’s not cut out for busy city living and would much prefer a quieter area where he can truly relax and enjoy life.

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs

1pm-5pm Monday – Wednesday, Friday
1pm-4pm Weekends
Thursday closed to the public.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
