Meet Jade!

Jade is a lively, intelligent dog with a big heart and a lot of energy. She’s looking for a home where she can thrive with structure, enrichment, and plenty of exercise. She came to us through no fault of her own and is ready for a new beginning.

In her previous home, Jade lived with a small dog and an older child. While we haven’t yet tested her with other dogs in our care, her history suggests she could do well with a canine companion-given proper introductions.

Jade will do best in a home with a predictable routine that helps her feel secure. She’ll need direct access to the outdoors, and a calm, quieter environment will help her settle in more comfortably.

Although she’s high-energy, Jade is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. Once she’s had her exercise and knows what to expect from her day, she transforms into a total cuddlebug. She absolutely loves toys, Kongs, and puzzle feeders-and she’s a smart girl who enjoys engaging her mind.

Jade has already shown how resilient and adaptable she is. With the right home, she’s sure to flourish into a devoted, loving companion who brings joy and heart to every day.

Do you think you could be Jade’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
