Meet Gemma

Meet Gemma!

Gemma is a super duper active gal who’s full of pizzazz! Gemma was brought into care under murky circumstances, so we don’t have much history for her. We do know that Gemma had a litter of puppies in her past.

Gemma does have a lot of energy, and will need a pawrent who can physically handle her, and give her the amount of mental and physical exercise she’ll need to live an enriched and fulfilled life. Gemma would do well to work with an Animal Kind Certified Trainer in her new home. She may prefer to be the only dog in the house but has potential to make doggy friends given a proper introduction!

Do you think you could be Gemma’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Tuesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
