A little bit about me:

– Good with kids

Sparrow came to us with her sister from another mister, Wren, after their owners weren’t able to keep them.
She is a big love bug, but is still learning to keep all four paws on the ground! She would benefit from someone who lives an energetic lifestyle, and is wanting a companion to tag along with for the ride. Sparrow knows some basic commands, but will need some time and patience with her leash-walking skills. She is quite food motivated though, so it should make the rest of her training fairly easy and fun!
Sparrow has lived successfully with cats, livestock, poultry and visiting grandchildren. She is tidy and well house trained, but may do some counter surfing 😉

While “gentle giant” may be an overused phrase, it aptly describes the Great Dane. Though large, it is generally friendly and affectionate to both family and strangers. Danes have a fairly low energy level, and, while playful, they are ready to quit and do something else after just a little while.
Those interested in Miss Sparrow should be familiar with the Dane breed before considering adopting.
