Meet Winnie
Adopted and returned twice, this poor sweetheart has been patiently awaiting her forever home for almost 200 days!
Winnie is a smart, affectionate girl who’s looking for a calm, consistent home where she can truly thrive. She loves her people deeply and forms strong bonds-she just needs the right environment to feel safe and supported.
Winnie would do best as the only pet in a detached home. She’s still working through her reactivity to other dogs and has a strong prey drive, so a quieter setting without close neighbors is best.
Winnie can be a fairly strong puller, however she’s showing great improvement with halter training and responds well to positive reinforcement! She can also feel anxious when left alone for long stretches, so a household where someone works from home or can check in regularly, would be a great fit. In return, she’ll offer unwavering companionship, loyalty, and plenty of love.
If you’re looking for a playful, loving dog who will keep you laughing and isn’t afraid to show her sassy side, Winnie could be the perfect fit for your home!

TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
