Meet Winnie
Meet Winnie,
Winnie is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves every human she meets! Her playful nature and love for attention make her an absolute joy to be around. Winnie thrives on companionship and enjoys showing affection, making her the perfect cuddle buddy.
Winnie can have a strong prey drive and can react to everything from other dogs to squirrels and deer. She’s also a strong puller on walks, so she would do best with an experienced owner who can work on these behaviors with her, whether through training or consistent guidance. Winnie would also be most comfortable as the only pet in the home, where she can receive all the attention she craves.
Additionally, Winnie can experience some separation anxiety. She would thrive in a home where someone is around more often, such as someone who works from home or is retired, but with time and patience, this is something that can be worked on and improved.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a lot of love to give and the commitment to help her grow, Winnie might just be your perfect match!
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Winnie’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!
Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
