Meet Oscar
Meet Oscar! This handsome guy may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’ll seek you out for gentle pets and affection. Oscar was originally found as a stray, so we’re not too sure about his background. What we do know is that, with a bit of patience and understanding, he’ll come out of his shell and show you his sweet, friendly side.
Oscar’s eyes light up with excitement whenever he sees other cats, and with proper introductions, he could thrive with a feline companion in the home. To keep Oscar healthy, he’ll need to stay on a veterinarian-prescribed urinary diet to manage his urinary crystals.
We think Oscar would do best in a quiet home without young children, as he prefers a calm, predictable environment. Oscar has the potential to make a wonderful companion in the right home, where he can feel safe and loved.
Do you think you could be Oscar’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
