Meet Sage!

Sage is a gentle young tabby who’s slowly beginning to show us her true personality. Her previous living situation wasn’t the right fit, and she arrived feeling unsure and overwhelmed. With time, patience, and a quiet environment, she’s been coming out of her shell a little more each day.

She hasn’t been feeling quite like herself lately due to urinary crystals, but she’s now on a prescribed urinary diet and is already starting to feel better. Sage will need to continue this veterinary diet to prevent future crystals. As her comfort returns, we’re seeing glimpses of a sweet, soft‑natured girl who wants to trust and settle in.

Because Sage hasn’t been feeling well due to urinary crystals, her litter box habits haven’t been perfect. Now that she’s on her urinary diet and feeling better, she’s making progress, and we expect her to continue improving in a stable home.

Sage will thrive with a calm, understanding family who can give her the space she needs to blossom at her own pace. Her future adopters will also need to transport her to her upcoming spay appointment, which is already scheduled.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-5pm

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
