Meet Gordo! This handsome young tabby gentleman came to the SPCA as a stray and is now looking for his fur-ever home. He is a sweet but somewhat shy boy looking for a quiet home to share his love in. He was pretty scared when he first came to the SPCA and likes to have a safe hiding space until he feels comfortable. Given time to adjust in a new environment he’ll soon be looking for all the pets and love he can get. He’s now often found curled up on people’s laps enjoying the attention. Gordo is still a bit of an anxious guy and is looking for a calm, quiet home without young children. We’re not sure how he would do with other animals. Proper, slow introductions would be very important to try and successfully introduce him to any new furry friends. If you are patient, loving, and gentle then Gordo will certainly blossom in your home and be a wonderful, loving companion.
*GORDO IS CURRENTLY AWAITING A DENTAL SURGERY FOR A BROKEN TOOTH AND NOT ABLE TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED JUST YET. LOCAL ADOPTERS MAY HAVE THE OPTION TO FOSTER TO ADOPT WHILE HE COMPLETES HIS DENTAL CARE. Ask SPCA staff for more info.
