Misty is a beautiful almost 5-year-old Lab x Boxer with a gentle heart and so much love to give. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, but with a bit of time and patience, she truly shines-once she’s comfortable, she is a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion.
Misty is used to having a lot of freedom and has previously been allowed to free roam, including spending time roaming her neighbourhood. Because of this, she will need a home that can provide structure and keep her safe-she would do best with a securely fenced yard and supervision while she adjusts to a more contained lifestyle.
She also experiences some separation anxiety so she would benefit from adopters who can offer consistency, patience, and help her build comfort when alone. A home where she isn’t left for long periods would be ideal.
Misty would thrive in a calm, understanding environment that allows her to settle in at her own pace. While she may start off a little unsure, the reward is a loving, devoted dog who will form a strong bond with her people.
