Nala is an 8-year-old sweetheart looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly shine. She enjoys chin scratches and will lean in for them, She’s also a big fan of treats, especially tube treats, which are a great way to bond with her.
Nala does have some special care needs. She is currently significantly overweight, which makes movement uncomfortable for her. Because of this, she is on a prescription weight-loss diet that will need to be continued in her new home. With patience, consistency, and encouragement, she can make great progress toward a healthier, happier life. Gentle, regular play and exercise will also be an important part of helping her build up her strength and shed some extra weight.
Nala would do best as the only cat in the household, as she is not comfortable around other cats. She’s looking for a home where she can be your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-3pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: Closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-3pm
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
