Meet Rambo! Rambo is a big boy just short of 100 lbs. In his time at the shelter, he has shown to be friendly with staff he meets. He is curious about meeting other people and dogs. In his time in shelter he hasn’t shown dog reactivity and seems indifferent about other dogs. He had lost his owner previously in his life, and seems to have some separation anxiety possibly as a result of his grief.

He is 9 years old and quite smart. Sometimes he can be stubborn, but is willing to sit to get what he wants (usually treats or a walk outside). Like most dogs of his size, he really enjoys walks and would be a dog that would benefit a lot from a owner/family that takes him on hikes and adventures. He isn’t a super big fan of being confined to small spaces, so crate training might be something he doesn’t benefit from as well as other dogs may.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
