Misty is a Husky mix, so she will need an experienced and confident guardian who understands the needs of a Husky. Typical of Huskies, this charming girl loves her people but can be slightly standoffish with new people. Once she gets to know you, she’ll be pawing for pets and snuggles!

Misty is approaching her senior years, so potential adopters will need to be prepared to get her seen regularly for checkups as she goes through her golden years. It is also important that adopters practice “cooperative care” with Misty, as she is very sensitive to vet handling and procedures. Misty can be reactive at times to certain dogs, so adopters would need to be willing to support her and manage this behaviour.

The perfect home for sweet Misty is a stable one; she is used to a calm, quiet, and predictable home and is looking to continue that lifestyle. Misty would love to be the only dog in the home and would rather not live with young kids.
