Meet Risotto!

This pint‑sized prince is ready to find his forever home. He may need a little time to settle into a new environment, but once he feels safe, he transforms into a professional cuddle bug. Risotto adores attention and isn’t shy about asking for it-sometimes quite loudly. He’ll happily jump up to say hello and flop onto his back to request belly rubs. Once he’s familiar with you, he’ll gladly hop into your lap for snuggles.

He walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out for strolls, proudly showing off his strut.

Risotto can be head‑shy and has some general anxieties around new experiences. He’ll need to go to a dog‑savvy home and will thrive with an adopter who is patient and willing to work on desensitization.

He has previously lived with other dogs and would likely do well with a canine companion, given a thoughtful introduction. Risotto is nervous around children and needs to go to an adults‑only home.

He is scheduled for his neuter appointment on March 25th, so we are prioritizing local adopters who can transport him to and from his appointment on the North Shore.
