Meet Tater:

Tater’s journey to us began when he was found running through traffic. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan scooped him up and brought him to safety, and he’s been winning hearts ever since.

Tater is a handsome senior gentleman with a heart full of love and a wonderfully balanced personality. Indoors, he’s calm, affectionate, and perfectly content taking long, cozy naps. Outside, he surprises everyone with his energetic, joyful side. Especially in the yard, where he loves to explore and soak up the fresh air.

He’s also carrying a bit of extra weight, so he’ll need an adopter committed to continuing his weight‑loss plan to help him feel his best. Tater has a few medical considerations common in seniors: otitis (ear inflammation), a luxating patella, and a corneal scar. None of these dim his spirit, but they do mean he’ll benefit from an adopter who can keep up with his ongoing care and comfort.

Tater has so much love to give and would make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a sweet, easygoing dog with just the right amount of pep. If you’re hoping for a loving senior who enjoys quiet cuddle time but still has plenty of joy and enthusiasm to share, Tater may be the perfect match.

Walk-ins are prioritized.

We are open to walk in’s Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
