Meet Big Bert:
Big Bert is a lovely, approximately 2‑year‑old boy with the biggest, most impressive cheeks you’ve ever seen; pictures truly don’t do them justice.
He arrived in our care with a very sore leg and some scars, but after being treated by our trusted partner Veterinarians, he’s received the all‑clear to begin his search for a forever home. This handsome, gentle boy is now ready for someone to fall in love with him – cheeks and all.
Although we don’t have much information on his history, we believe that the best home for him would be where he is the only cat! He will need some slow introductions to grooming, but he is very respectful when he has had enough brushing!
Big Bert is affectionate, and full of charm, winning over everyone he meets.
This handsome, gentle boy is now ready for someone to fall in love with him-cheeks and all.
Walk-ins are prioritized.
We are open Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
