Meet Prince, a handsome 4-year-old black Domestic Short Hair gentleman with a gentle soul. Prince came to us as a stray, so unfortunately we don’t know much about his past. Since arriving in our care, he has been neutered and has been slowly learning that he is safe and cared for.

Prince is a shy and sensitive boy, especially around loud noises and busy activity-which is completely understandable given his history. Because of this, he would do best in a quiet, calm home without a lot of hustle and bustle. A peaceful environment and a patient adopter who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust will help him truly blossom.

While Prince may be reserved at first, he is gradually showing his affectionate side. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he absolutely loves getting chin and cheek rubs and will sweetly rub against your legs to say hello. Watching him build trust and come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding.

Prince is looking for a kind, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue growing in confidence. With patience and love, this sensitive boy will make a devoted and endearing companion.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
