Chicken is a sweet, outdoorsy boy who’s finally ready to retire from his rugged past and enjoy the comfort and safety of an indoor home. He’s incredibly friendly, loves people, and wants nothing more than to be part of whatever his humans are doing. If you’re looking for a cat who will follow you around, curl up beside you, and soak up every bit of affection-Chicken is your guy.

He still enjoys a little adventure, though! A catio or some supervised harness walks would make him the happiest boy. Chicken is playful, curious, and very smart-he’s even learning tricks like sit and stand up in the shelter (especially when treats are involved).

He’s wonderfully tolerant and patient, making him a great fit for families with kids. Chicken also gets along well with other cats and is extremely accepting of those who may be a bit too enthusiastic or still learning proper social skills. He handles it all with a calm, gentle attitude.
