If you have been looking for a cute, cuddly, smart and playful companion, you’ve found him! Max is such a fun pup who brings lots of life to our day. He was brought into our care through no fault of his own and is waiting for his forever family.

Max already knows sit, stay, lay down, wait, shake a paw, touch and roll over! He is extremely driven with toys or treats and we feel he could learn so many more commands and tricks. He just recently learned “though” and will weave through your legs at this command. It only took Max about 10 minutes to learn this trick! He is very toy motivated so training can be a low calorie activity as well. He lives to play fetch and tug. Max will happily run after a ball until your arm gets tired.

We feel Max would be best suited in a home with no other pets as he does show some reactive behaviour towards other dogs. His future guardians should be ready to work on this to help Max feel more comfortable when seeing other dogs. We also would recommend a home with no small children as he can get jumpy when excited and we wouldn’t want any little ones being knocked over by him.
