Ziggy came into the SPCA after being found outside as a stray possibly never having been held or touched much by human hands before. Ziggy was pretty scared of people when she came, but she’s been in a foster home learning that people aren’t so scary and that she actually loves pets and play time. She is the kind of young cat who will need some time and lots of love to help her continue adjusting to her new world inside and learn to trust people. Ziggy will need a cat savvy guardian prepared to work on her continued socialization in a home environment. A quiet adult home without children would be best. She may initially prefer to observe things from a cozy hiding spot until she feels safe and secure, but soon her curiosity and playful side will win out. For those with patience, lots of love, and a gentle hand, Ziggy will grow into a loyal and loving companion. Ziggy would likely do well with other animals, particularly a feline friend, with proper, slow introductions. Due to her nervous nature and long coat she is looking to be an indoor only cat.
