Meet Emma!
Although initially quite skeptical, Emma is slowly coming around thanks to the efforts of staff and volunteers. Go slow with her, and you’ll find she can be quite the affectionate (and very quirky) lady! She’ll do best in a quiet home with people who can give her time to adjust at her own pace.
Emma is on the larger side, so she will also require a strict diet to help her get down to a healthier weight for her golden years.

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.
Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.
Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
