Meet Sophie

Meet Birdie đź’—

Birdie is a sweet 8-year-old pit bull with a heart as big as her smile. She’s friendly with both people and other dogs, and she truly enjoys being around those who show her kindness. Birdie came into our care very skinny, but she’s now on a carefully managed refeeding plan and is already showing her resilience and playful nature. She will only eat off of a plate on the floor, and will try to bury her food if given in a bowl. Despite her rough start, she remains in good spirits and eager to love. Birdie would thrive in a caring home where she can continue to gain strength, enjoy leisurely walks, and finally settle into the comfortable, loving life she deserves.
